Welcome everyone. Here I am going to tell you some amazing keyboard
shortcuts you should know. You should use shortcuts because it increases
your productivity. But before that let see some of the basic keyboard shortcuts:-
- Ctrl+A = To select all the text
- Ctrl+C = To copy something
- Ctrl+V = To paste something
- Ctrl+X = To cut something
- Ctrl+Z = Undo
- Windows button to open start menu
- Ctrl + S = Used to save something
- Ctrl + N = Used to open a new document in chrome, paint, powerpoint etc.
Now lets see some amazing keyboard shortcuts
- Ctrl+F5 = Used to reload a tab in chrome and in many web browsers. For reloading Ctrl+R is also used but sometimes you face issues , the page is not reloading or taking too much time to reload then you can use this shortcut.
- Ctrl+F4 = Used to close a tab in chrome.
- Ctrl+T = Used to open a new tab in chrome.
- Ctrl+W = Used to close a tab in chrome.
- Windows button + 1 = This shortcut can be used in chrome to switch between different tabs. If you will click on Ctrl + 1 then the 1st tab will open if you will click on Ctrl + 2 then the 2nd tab will open and so on.
- Ctrl + Alt + Arrow key = Using this shortcut you can turn you screen upwards and downwards or in left or right. Just click any arrow key with Ctrl and Alt. You must try this shortcut.
- End and Home keys = This is not a shortcut its like a hack or something. When you are typing something anywhere, when you will click on End button it will take you to the end and when you will click on Home it will take you at the top.
- Ctrl + backspace/Delete = When you will click on Ctrl+backspace/delete it will delete a word yes not a letter but a word.
I hope you know whats the difference in using backspace and delete.
When you will click on delete it will delete the text from your right and
when you will click backspace it will delete a text from your
left.
- Windows + D = This shortcut is used to minimize all the applications. For example when you are using multiple applications and you want to minimize them all then you can use this shortcut.
- Alt + F4 = used to close an application for example when you are using paint and you want to close it then you can use this shortcut to close paint.
- Alt+Tab / Windows+tab = This shortcut is used when you are using different applications and you want to switch between them then you can use this shortcut. Both of them are used for the same purpose but there animation are different.
