1. What is a word processor?
Ans. Word processing is a technique of creating, editing, saving, and printing documents. Application software used to perform these tasks is called the word processor.    

2. What is the difference between a text editor and a word processor?
Ans. A text editor only allows you to create and edit plain text. whereas, while using a word processor, you can format and illustrate the text.

3. Name the three popular word processors.
Ans. Three popular word processors are:-
  • MS world 
  • open Office 
  • Google Docs

4. What are the four main operations possible with MS Word. 
Ans. the four major operations are:- 
  • creating and saving a document 
  • opening an existing document 
  • editing and formatting a document 
  • previewing and preventing a document.
5. What is the purpose of the quick access toolbar?
Ans. The quick access toolbar is located next to the word icon. It provides easy access to the frequently used command buttons. By default, three buttons are present on it which are save, undo, and redo.
